Melvin brings over a decade of industry experience to his role at NHS Global Events. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, he began his career as a Travel Sales Specialist with AAA Vacations—a position that sparked his deep love of travel and inspired him to explore 16 countries across three continents.

He later transitioned to the hotel side of the industry, holding several key roles, most recently serving as Catering & Conference Services Manager at the Four Seasons Chicago. These experiences have equipped Melvin with a well-rounded understanding of both client and hotel perspectives.

Driven by ambition and a genuine passion for learning, Melvin approaches every endeavor with enthusiasm and excellence. His natural ability to connect with people helps him build trust and foster strong relationships—qualities our clients truly value.

Outside of work, Melvin’s curiosity and love of learning continue to shine. He enjoys exploring interests like travel, history, food, and interior design. In his free time, you’ll find him with friends at film festivals, comedy shows, street fairs, beach outings, or experimenting in the kitchen.
