Strength in Numbers

The company with a heart…

Here at NHS Global Events, we strongly believe in supporting efforts to improve and grow our communities. With our Strength in Numbers(sm) initiative, we work with the Carole Robertson Center for Learning, Sarah’s Circle and Mark Henry PCMA Scholarship – donating our time, treasure, and talent to pay it forward. Now more than ever, communities need our help. We invite all our clients and supplier partners to join in our efforts! Please contact us to learn more about the many ways you can help improve communities.

Carole Robertson Center for Learning

Carole Robertson Center for Learning is a non-profit, multicultural, community-based, family development organization providing quality programs to Chicago’s west side. You can help too by donating your time, talent, or treasure. Please see their wish list and contact Geri Anne Nelson for more information.

NHS Global Events supports Carole Robinson Center in their mission to educate, enrich and empower children and families. Year-round we collect donations and volunteer at events to create solutions for a stronger, more friendly community.

Mark Henry PCMA Scholarship

Mark Henry was a friend to many in the meetings industry. He was a long time PCMA Greater Midwest Chapter (GMC) member and a wonderful volunteer leader. Sadly, he passed away in December 2017. To honor his legacy, GMC has created the Mark Henry Scholarship, the purpose of which is to help members new to the industry fund the costs of meeting registration and other meetings related expenses, so they can attend, experience and participate in our industry events.

Following Mark Henry’s esteemed career and the subsequent passing of our colleague and then working with PCMA, a scholarship fund was established for industry professionals. We are honored to support this fund with committee leadership and financial contributions.

Sarah’s Circle

Sarah’s Circle is a non-profit agency with a mission of serving women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Located in Chicago’s Uptown community, Sarah’s Circle has provided support for thousands of women over the course of its 30 year history. NHS Global Events supports Sarah’s Circle with monetary contributions and toiletry item donations. You can join us by sending toiletry items to NHS Global Events or Sarah’s Circle. Visit their website to learn other ways you can help.
