The Newest Stars In Our Galaxy

You wouldn’t be too far afield if you thought NHS Global Events is a branch of NASA. Because we’re always looking for new stars. But while NASA is trying to discover what’s happening hundreds of light years away, we’re more interested in finding people to join our team to serve our clients here.

And like Orion’s Belt, we have three (new) stars we’d like you to meet.

Before joining NHS Global Events earlier this year, Meeting and Event Planner Kara Shively has planned conferences that yield 300+ attendees for a magazine publishing company, various events for Microsoft from product launches to trade shows to customer appreciation outings, non-for-profit fundraising dinners and galas in Chicago and U.S. Navy recruiting events.

And then there was this. “For an event I helped plan, I was part of Bill Clinton’s security team for a VIP meet and greet with him. We talked about his favorite restaurants in Chicago.”

We’ve also added two new Sourcing Account Managers – Alexis Augius and Nicole LaVere.

Alexis, who loves to be the calm in the storm, says, “I first listen to the overall needs  of our clients and then seek out the best way to meet and exceed those needs. More specifically, I am working diligently to get the best overall contract for our clients.”

Nicole adds, “I will help our clients by leading them to the best option for their meetings and ensuring their safety and low risk when negotiating contracts on their behalf.”

Kara is a certified yoga instructor who loves spoiling her two dogs. Alexis is an avid reader and loves to cook. Nicole is an essential oil lover. “I try to take a holistic, proactive approach to care for my family rather than always using medicine.”

And all three are excited to work with you.
